Luxury Car Rental Johannesburg: Premium SUVs & Sedans

Published 7 October 2026 · By Car Rental Plus · 7 min read

Johannesburg is South Africa’s largest city and its economic engine, which means a lot of travel into it is business travel — flying into OR Tambo International Airport for meetings in Sandton, Rosebank, or Melrose Arch, or arriving for a conference, a wedding, or a milestone trip where the vehicle matters. Car Rental Plus runs a premium fleet across the whole Johannesburg metro — not just one business node — with delivery available directly to the airport, your hotel, or your office.

Why a Premium Rental Makes Sense in Johannesburg

Johannesburg’s business geography is spread out — Sandton, Rosebank, Melrose Arch, and the Waterfall office nodes near Midrand are all real destinations in their own right, often 20-40 minutes apart. Ride-hailing availability can be inconsistent around load-shedding and peak traffic, which is exactly when a tight meeting schedule can’t absorb a delay. Arriving in and travelling between meetings in your own executive vehicle keeps a business trip on your own timeline, and for leisure arrivals — a wedding, an anniversary, a milestone visit — the vehicle sets the tone from the moment you land.

Our Johannesburg premium fleet includes executive sedans, luxury SUVs, and chauffeur-driven options, all maintained to concierge standards and available for delivery to OR Tambo Airport, your hotel, or your office anywhere in the metro.

Self-Drive Luxury Rental vs. a Chauffeur Service

Johannesburg clients split fairly evenly between self-drive luxury rental and a chauffeur-driven service, depending on the trip:
